Pickled strips, single pass strips

Marcegaglia Carbon Steel produces a wide range of pickled and single-pass strips designed for high surface quality, precision and versatility. Available in thicknesses from 1.2 to 12 mm and widths up to 1,530 mm, these strips meet the needs of various industrial and forming applications.
The product portfolio includes structural steels (S185 to S355K2), high-strength cold-forming grades (S315MC to S600MC) and low-carbon steels (DD11 to DD14), in accordance with EN 10025, EN 10149 and EN 10111 standards.

Manufactured with strict dimensional tolerances (EN 10051) and available with certified documentation (EN 10204 2.1–3.2), Marcegaglia’s strips ensure reliability, consistency and process efficiency, ideal for demanding fabrication and engineering uses.

Cold rolled strips

Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s cold-rolled strips deliver premium versatility and precision with thicknesses ranging from 0.20 to 4 mm and widths up to 1,530 mm, catering to a wide variety of industrial demands.
Manufactured under standards such as EN 10139, EN 10341, EN 10268, EN 10132-2/-3/-4 and EN 10130, the portfolio includes mild, high-yield, spring, electrical, low-carbon and specialty steels, with custom grades available upon request.

Fully controlled supply conditions guarantee tight tolerances (per EN 10140, EN 10131, EN 10341) and traceable documentation (EN 10204 types 2.1-3.2).
Ideal for applications from deep-drawing and automotives to electrical laminations and mechanical parts, these strips combine expansive grade capability with manufacturing and logistics efficiency.

Hot dip galvanized strips

Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s hot dip galvanized strips are engineered for versatility, strength and corrosion resistance, with thicknesses ranging from 0.25 mm to 4 mm and widths up to 1,530 mm.
The product portfolio includes cold-forming grades (DX 51D–DX 57D), structural steels (S220GD–S550GD) and high-yield/hybrid steels (HX and HCT series) produced in accordance with EN 10346, and optionally under ASTM A653.

Zinc coatings range from Z50 up to Z800 g/m² (total both sides) and are available with various surface finishes – from standard (A) to superior (C) – and treatments such as light oiling, chromate or advanced organic coatings like Ecorsteel^®.

Manufactured under strict tolerances (per EN 10143) with full certification (EN 10204 types 2.1-3.2), these strips guarantee reliability, dimensional precision and high performance, ideal for demanding applications including construction, automotive, appliance manufacture and other industrial uses.

Oscillated-wound coils

Marcegaglia Carbon Steel offers a dedicated range of oscillated-wound coils (narrow strips wound in continuous coils) engineered for precision, efficiency and minimal handling interruption. These coils are available in thicknesses from 1.2 to 6 mm and widths from 6 to 60 mm, enabling optimized feeding in high-speed processing lines.

They span steel grades for cold forming (EN 10139 – DC01, DC03, DC04, etc.), case hardening (EN 10132-2), quenching & tempering (EN 10132-3) and spring & specialty steels (EN 10132-4). Supplied as coils or bars with lengths from 3,000 to 6,000 mm, they follow Marcegaglia’s strict internal dimensional tolerances and quality checks.

Ideal for continuous production processes where long, uninterrupted strip lengths enhance productivity, these oscillated-wound coils combine low downtime and high performance in demanding industrial settings.
