Marcegaglia Carbon Steel manufactures a complete range of flat products – coils, strips and sheets – in both carbon steel and pre-painted (PPGI), as well as carbon steel welded tubes. Processing more than 4.5 million tons of steel per year and generating a turnover of 4 billion euros, the company is Europe’s leading producer of carbon steel welded tubes.

Headquartered in Gazoldo degli Ippoliti (Mantua, Italy), Marcegaglia Carbon Steel operates 20 production sites (9 in Italy and 11 abroad), 3 service centers in Italy and 6 sales offices across Europe, employing a total of 3,700 people. Its manufacturing facilities process around 3 million tons of flat products (coils, strips and sheets) and more than 1.5 million tons of tubes and cold-drawn welded tubes each year.

In Ravenna, the company operates Europe’s largest service center for the finishing, cutting and automated packaging of strips and sheets, with an annual capacity of 1.1 million tons. Complementing this is a network of logistics hubs served by rail, ship and road, enabling Marcegaglia to deliver its full product range efficiently worldwide – optimizing material flows and providing customers with accurate, flexible and just-in-time service.
