Black steel sheets
Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s black steel sheets offer a versatile and robust solution for structural, mechanical and cold-forming applications. Manufactured under premium standards such as EN 10025-2 &-5, EN 10149-2 and EN 10111, the range supports non-alloy structural steels (S185 to S355K2), high-yield steels for cold forming (S315MC to S550MC) and low-carbon steels for subsequent cold work (DD11 to DD14).
Typical thicknesses span from approximately 1.5 mm to 20 mm, with widths reaching 2,000 mm and reachable lengths up to 16,000 mm. Dimensional tolerances adhere to EN 10051, and full documentation (2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 3.2 per EN 10204) is available.
These black sheets are ideal whenever strong steel geometry, consistent mechanical properties and full traceability are required across construction, heavy fabrication, automotive and cold‐forming industries.
Pickled steel sheets
Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s pickled steel sheets offer a robust solution for multiple industrial applications. With thicknesses from approximately 1.5 mm to 15 mm and widths typically set at 1,000, 1,250 or 1,500 mm, these sheets accommodate lengths up to 16,000 mm for versatile use.
Available grades include classic non-alloy structural steels (S185 to S355JR/K2) under EN 10025-2, high-yield hot-rolled steels for cold forming (S315MC to S550MC) under EN 10149-2 and low-carbon steels (DD11 to DD14) under EN 10111.
Manufactured with tight dimensional tolerances according to EN 10051 and accompanied by full certification under EN 10204 (2.1-3.2), these sheets deliver consistent quality, traceable documentation and reliable performance in demanding settings.
Steel sheets from cold rolled coils
Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s sheets from cold-rolled coils combine excellent flatness, surface quality and tight dimensional control, making them ideal for forming operations and high-precision manufacturing.
Produced by cut-to-length processing from cold-rolled coils, they are available in thicknesses from approximately 0.35 mm to 3 mm and in standard widths of 1000, 1250 and 1500 mm, meeting a broad range of industrial requirements.
Manufactured in accordance with EN 10139 (cold-rolled uncoated mild steel), EN 10130 (low-carbon steel flat products for cold forming) and EN 10268 (high-yield strength cold-rolled flat products), this range also includes custom grades for automotive and specialty applications.
Supply conditions comply with EN 10131 (dimensional tolerances) and EN 10204 (inspection documents 2.1-3.2).
With a wide portfolio of grades, precise cut-to-length processing and reliable surface quality, Marcegaglia’s sheets from cold-rolled coils provide consistent performance for structural, furniture, appliance and mechanical applications worldwide.
Hot dip galvanized steel sheets
Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s hot dip galvanized sheets combine durability, corrosion resistance and versatility for industrial and structural use. Coating levels range from Z50 up to Z725 g/m², ensuring high zinc protection on both sides of the sheet.
Various surface finishes are available – from standard (A) to improved (B, B1, B2) and superior (C) – with treatments including light oiling, chromate conversion or advanced organic coatings like Ecorsteel®.
Manufactured in accordance with standard EN 10346 (and optionally ASTM A653), these sheets support cold forming, structural applications and premium automotive-grade specifications.
With tight tolerances, full documentation (EN 10204 types 2.1-3.2) and tailored production offered on request, Marcegaglia’s galvanized sheets deliver consistent, high-quality performance for construction, appliance, automotive and other demanding sectors.
Diamond patterned steel sheets
Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s diamond patterned steel sheets combine aesthetics and durability for flooring, tread applications, industrial platforms, staircases and architectural elements. They are available in thicknesses from 2 mm through 12 mm and widths of 1,000, 1,250 or 1,500 mm, with lengths from 200 mm up to 16,000 mm.
The raised “diamond” texture, typically 1 to 2 mm in height, provides enhanced grip and visual appeal.
Manufactured under the same high production standards as the rest of the group, these sheets ensure consistent thickness, reliable performance and full traceability throughout the supply chain. Ideal where safety, finish quality and functional design are required, Marcegaglia’s diamond-patterned steel sheets deliver a premium balance of form and functionality.
Teardrop patterned steel sheets
Marcegaglia Carbon Steel’s teardrop-patterned steel sheets combine enhanced surface grip and industrial durability for flooring, industrial platforms, stair treads, vehicle decks and architectural uses. These sheets are available in thicknesses from 2 to 12 mm and widths of 1,000, 1,250, or 1,500 mm, with feasible lengths of up to 16,000 mm.
The minimal depth of the teardrop embossing ranges from 1 to 2 mm, ensuring structural reinforcement and anti-slip performance.
Manufactured under the Group’s high-quality standards, these sheets guarantee consistent dimension control, surface finish and full traceability. Ideal when both functional performance and distinctive surface texture matter, Marcegaglia’s teardrop-patterned steel sheets deliver a premium balance of form and function for demanding industrial and architectural environments.
